Morning Shift

Our client based in the Cork location is looking to recruit a team of reliable, hardworking General Operatives to assist with the manual unloading and loading of customer orders and scanning of products. The shift will be a morning shift 7am- 4pm to finish Monday to Friday.  This position involves handling a wide variety of goods and materials and is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, labor-intensive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• General operatives will manually unload goods and products from shipping containers or trucks.
• Sort, stack, and organize items by type, size, or delivery zone.
• General operatives will Inspect items for damage or discrepancies during unloading.
• Palletise items using shrink wrap and other securing materials when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and forklift drivers to ensure efficient workflow.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months warehouse based experience is essential
• Physically fit and capable of repetitive heavy lifting
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (inside containers can get hot or cold).
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and team-player attitude.
• Experience working in Fast-paced warehouse or freight yard.

Preferred Qualifications:

Flexible availability for shifts and occasional overtime.
