Transport Planner Full Time NEW

The working week is Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30, you’ll be responsible for coordinating specialist cargo movements, providing accurate quotations, and supporting key customer accounts. This role requires strong planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of high-value, specialised freight.

Job Responsibilities

• Managing order bookings and ensuring all cargo movements are planned accurately
• Leading vessel and transport planning for Special Cargo shipments
• Preparing quotations and supporting commercial pricing discussions
• Coordinating with key accounts, ensuring excellent communication and service
• Working closely with international partners to align plans and schedules
• Monitoring operational performance and addressing planning issues proactively
• Ensuring all planning data and documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant

About you

Ideally, you’ll hold a qualification in Transport, Logistics, or Supply Chain, and bring experience from a similar planning role within the transport sector. You’ll be analytical, organised, and confident making decisions in a dynamic environment. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively with teams across multiple locations and time zones. Experience managing key accounts or complex customer requirements will also help you succeed.
