General Services Manager – €90k Full Time NEW

We are currently recruiting for a General Services Manager on behalf of a leading facilities management provider, supporting a high-profile client site in Limerick.

This is a senior leadership role for an experienced and commercially driven professional to take full ownership of a large, multi-service contract within a complex and highly regulated environment.

The Role

As General Services Manager, you will lead the delivery of integrated facilities management services across the site, acting as the single point of contact for all FM activities.

You will be responsible for driving operational performance, ensuring service excellence, and delivering strong financial results, while building and maintaining key client relationships. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on a flagship site, shaping strategy and driving continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the full delivery of the contract, ensuring all services meet or exceed SLAs and KPIs
• Act as the primary client interface, building strong and lasting relationships
• Provide strategic leadership across multiple service lines (technical, soft services, vendors)
• Take full ownership of financial performance including P&L, budgeting, and forecasting
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvement plans where required
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, GMP/GDP, and regulatory standards
• Lead, coach, and develop multidisciplinary teams, driving engagement and performance
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Identify and deliver opportunities for contract growth, innovation, and efficiencies
• Oversee risk management, audits, and governance processes
• Collaborate with central teams and subject matter experts to ensure best practice

Desirable:

• Proven experience in a senior facilities management or operations leadership role
• Strong track record managing large, integrated or outsourced service contracts
• Experience in pharmaceutical or other highly regulated environments is highly desirable
• Commercially astute with strong P&L management experience
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Strong client-facing experience with the ability to influence at senior level
• Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, solutions-focused, and results-driven

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a regulated (GMP/GDP) environment
• Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business or related field (desirable)
• NEBOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification (desirable)
• Experience with CAFM systems such as Maximo or SAP
• Knowledge of compliance, audit, and risk management processes
