Breakfast Chef – Co Laois

An opportunity has arisen for a Breakfast Chef for a four star hotel in Co. Laois. This is a fantastic role for a hardworking ambitious chef who is looking to step into a role where creativity and flair are welcomed by this property. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in this role in a four or five star hotel.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Can cover all sections of kitchen
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Can work well as part of a team.
  • Able to work on there own intuitive or part of a team.
  • Proven track record in a similar role.
  • Have a passion and flare for food;
  • Produce product to the agreed standard within the agreed.
  • Ensure compliance to and document in accordance with HACCP.
  • Liaise and communicate with colleagues while ensuring a professional, friendly and courteous service.
  • Strong attention to detail when carrying out there role.
  • Cooking to a very high standard of food for the members.

       Role Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years experience in similar role.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent eye for detail.
  • Flexibility-Weekends.
  • Excellent organisational skills a must.
  • Previous experience working in a successful kitchen.
  • Excellent culinary background.
  • Strong menu management and implementation.
  • Excellent execution when presenting food.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Can work well as part of a team.
  • Salary negotiable depending on experience.
