Accommodation Manager
Location: Clare
Salary: €45-50k
Duties & Responsibilities
- Management of the day-to-day operations of the accommodation department in conjunction with the Executive Accommodation Manager.
- Inspection of all serviced rooms and public areas daily to ensure that 5-star standards are always met.
- Administration duties; rosters, time and attendance system and lost property.
- To be actively involved in upgrading of the product and refurbishment of guest bedrooms and public areas.
- Most importantly guest care and ensuring their needs are looked after during their stay.
- The allocation of daily duties to the Accommodation team.
- Ensuring excellent communication between relevant departments for the efficient running of the department.
- Training of all new team members to a 5- star standard.
- Maintaining a high level of “team ethos” and providing a support to the accommodation team.
- Management of linen supplies and room amenities.
- Carrying out monthly stock takes.
- Working very closely with maintenance facilities department to ensure all maintenance issues are rectified promptly.
Candidate:
- Experience within a 5* environment is advantageous at Management level.
- Be organised, efficient and systematic in work procedures.
- Must be focused on standards and attention to minute detail.
- Strong inter-personal skills and be able to motivate and lead others.
