As Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of a relaxed, inviting operation, nestled within beautifully converted stables in this 5* property. The type of restaurant that offers a casual dining experience with a menu featuring a mix of hearty and refined dishes. 

The Role Requirements:

• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure smooth service and efficient restaurant operations.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering and stocking supplies.
• Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff.
• Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Interact with guests to build rapport and enhance their dining experience.
• Handle reservations and manage seating to optimize table turnover and guest comfort.
• Implement strategies to maximize profitability and manage costs effectively.

The Candidates Requirements:

• Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively guide and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with guests and handle complaints.
• Understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and staff supervision.
• Ability to handle unexpected issues and resolve problems quickly and effectively.
• Previous experience in a restaurant management role.   
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and ensure smooth operations.
