Conference & Banqueting Manager – 4* Hotel Wexford

My client is looking for a C&B Manager for this lovely 4* property in Wexford. This venue is known for its commitment to efficient and excellent service. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall success and operation of the Conference, Banqueting and Events department.
  • Assisting your team in developing lasting relationships with groups to retain business and increase growth
  • Demonstrating leadership by inspiring your team to accomplish daily goals and targets and developing their skills in a luxury hotel environment
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for the department
  • Ensuring a highly effective operation to create and deliver memorable experiences
  • Maximise revenue and profitability across all areas in line with budget expectations

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Have experience within a similar role in 4 star hotels
  • Demonstrate a strong leadership presence and take a proactive hands on role
  • Be an inspirational leader who is passionate about creating highly energised teams
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a pressured environment with high guest expectations
  • Have experience of running high volume weddings and events in a luxury environment
  • Be commercially astute and have solid financial awareness
