Duty Manager – 4* Hotel Limerick

As Duty Manager you will play a key role in various hospitality and service-oriented aspects of the Hotel.  The Duty Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the establishment, ensuring that everything runs smoothly during their shift. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of service, addressing issues as they arise, and ensuring guest satisfaction within out Hotel.

The Role Requirements:

• Supervise daily operations across different departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage services.
• Ensure all operational procedures are followed and that the facility is running efficiently and effectively.
• Handle administrative tasks such as managing shift reports, maintaining records, and overseeing the completion of daily checklists.
• Address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
• Ensure that guests receive high-quality service and have a positive experience during their stay or visit.
• Resolve any issues that arise with guest accommodations, services, or facilities.
• Supervise and support staff during shifts, including front desk agents, housekeeping staff, and other department employees.
• Implement solutions quickly to minimize disruptions and maintain service quality.

The Candidates Requirements:

• Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to handle guest interactions and resolve complaints.
• Ability to think quickly and resolve issues efficiently.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and oversee various departments.
• Ability to work, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the shift schedule.
• Previous experience in hospitality or a related field, often including experience in supervisory roles.

Salary Guide: €34K with Free Accommodation
