Duty Manager

As Duty Manager in the hotel you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations during your shift. You will serve as the primary point of contact for both guests and staff, handling various responsibilities to maintain high service standards, as required by the hotel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Take responsibility for the hotel for early or late shifts making sure all areas are open, set up properly and welcoming to guests.
• Help in Food & Beverage departments in high demand periods, and other departments as needed. 
• Deal with guest and employees queries as they arise.
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety & fire prevention procedures when on-shift.
• Cash handling and ensuring all SOP’s are adhered to.
• Handle any emergencies or issues that arise, such as maintenance problems quickly and effectively.
• Food and beverage product knowledge.
• Liaise with the Management on offers and deals for the hotel and assist with Department training.
• Assist in training new staff and ensuring ongoing development for current employees.

Candidate Requirements:

• 3rd level qualification in Management, hospitality, or related field.
• At least 2 years experience in supervisory or junior management role in hospitality.
• Team player with exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team and foster a positive work environment.
• A strong focus on guest satisfaction and experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
