We are seeking a motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join the team at a busy Hotel. This is a hands-on role suited to a confident hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, excellent operational awareness, and a passion for delivering high standards of guest service.
The successful candidate will support the smooth day-to-day running of the hotel, working closely with all departments across food and beverage, front office, conferences, weddings, and events.
Key Responsibilities:
· Hotel Duty Manager will oversee daily hotel operations and coordinate effectively across all departments
· Hotel Duty Manager will ensure the smooth delivery of conferences, weddings, restaurant, bar, and front office services
· Hotel Duty Manager will act as the main point of contact for guest queries and operational issues during shifts
· Hotel Duty Manager will complete fire walks, cash handling procedures, and support AV setups for events
· Hotel Duty Manager will supervise food and beverage service during busy periods and ensure strong team delegation
· Hotel Duty Manager will monitor guest satisfaction and maintain consistently high service standards
· Hotel Duty Manager will lead team briefings and support the planning of upcoming functions and events
· Hotel Duty Manager will assist with operational targets, including waste reduction, wage control, and budgeting
· Hotel Duty Manager will ensure hotel policies, procedures, and health and safety standards are always maintained
· Hotel Duty Manager will support and motivate team members to deliver a professional and guest-focused service
What We’re Looking For:
· Previous Duty Manager experience in a hotel or similar high-volume property
· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
· Knowledge of Hotsoft or a similar front office system would be an advantage
· Excellent attention to detail and a guest-focused approach
· Ability to remain calm, organised, and efficient in a fast-paced environment
· Strong food and beverage, events, or front office experience is desirable
· Flexibility to work a range of shifts in line with hotel operations
