Financial Controller – 5* Hotel Kerry

This senior management position will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of this 5* property. The role will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information and help guide strategic decision-making by providing detailed financial analysis and reporting. As Financial Controller you will report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and also to the company’s senior management team.

The Role Requirements:

• Prepare and oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Analyze financial reports to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and manage the annual budget and financial forecasts.
• Monitor performance against the budget and analyze variances.
• Provide insights and recommendations for budget adjustments as needed.
• Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions and reconciliations.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.
• Prepare financial models and scenarios to evaluate potential business opportunities and risks.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and decision-making.

The Candidates Requirements:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
• Proficiency with accounting software and financial management systems.
• Significant experience in financial management, including experience in a controller or senior accounting role.
• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required. 

Salary Guide: €65K – €75K, Staff Accommodation is provided.
