Financial Controller – 4* Hotel Limerick
My Client is looking for a Financial Controller to join a successful management team. This 4* star hotel is based in the centre of Limerick city. The Financial controller will be reporting directly to the General Manager. The successful candidate will need the following requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the General Manager and wider operational team to ensure a full understanding of KPIs and how this affects the various departments.
- Improve profitability by setting targets for each department.
- Focus on Payroll and highlight under preforming departments and communicating effectively to the team.
- Oversee month end schedules are being adhered to.
- Co-ordinate year end and interim audit processes of the portfolio and revies sign off being submitted.
- Monthly Management Accounts – In depth review prior to submission to ensure they are a fair reflection of trade both current and future.
- Payroll management including the review of the accuracy of the forecast and actuals.
- Assist with the capital expenditure process, work with General Managers and senior team members to ensure accuracy of applications and submissions of requests.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in similar role.
- Demonstrated people management experience, overseeing both direct and indirect reports.
- Proven expertise in strategic financial planning, financial modelling, and analysis.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation purposes.
- Knowledge of SAP or other large ERP systems for financial analysis and reporting.
- Ability to think strategically and translate financial data into actionable insights.
Salary Guide: €65k-70k
