General Manager

General Manager opportunity to lead a 4* Hotel in the South East of Ireland. As General Manager you will be accountable for all aspects of the hotel operations, the daily management of the team and guests. As GM you will work closely with Owners/Directors to ensure financial targets are achieved and that commercial and strategic plans are in place. 

• Manage hotel operations day to day
• Encourage a strong culture in the hotel
• Motivate and support management team 
• Manage financial targets of the hotel when it comes to Rooms Revenue, Food & Beverage, Wage Control and overall Revenues
• Manage the external costs of the business 
• Work with the local community when it comes to loyalty
• Oversee Sales/Marketing plans with team
• Ensure 4* standard is in place across all departments and that the guest experience is to the forefront 

Candidate:

• Will have a minimum of 3 years experience as General Manager in a 4* Hotel in Ireland
• Will be used to managing busy food & beverage led hotel operation
• Strong Financials to manage budgets, profit & loss accounts etc.
• Excellent communication skills 
• Strong leadership and development skills 
• Excellent knowledge of policies and procedures 
• Strong commercial and strategic knowledge
