We are seeking reliable and physically fit General Operatives to assist with the manual unloading and loading of freight containers in the evening time. This position involves handling a wide variety of goods and materials and is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, labour-intensive environment. IND22

Key Responsibilities:

• General operatives will manually unload goods and products from shipping containers or trucks.
• Sort, stack, and organize items by type, size, or delivery zone.
• General operatives will Inspect items for damage or discrepancies during unloading.
• Palletise items using shrink wrap and other securing materials when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and forklift drivers to ensure efficient workflow.

Requirements:

• Physically fit and capable of repetitive heavy lifting
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (inside containers can get hot or cold).
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and team-player attitude.
• Must wear appropriate safety gear (PPE provided or required).
• Experience working in Fast-paced warehouse or freight yard.

Preferred Qualifications:

Flexible availability for shifts and occasional overtime.
