Evening Shift

Our client based in the Cork location is looking to recruit a team of reliable, hardworking General Operatives to assist with the manual unloading and loading of customer orders and scanning of products. The shift will be an evening shift 6pm to finish Monday to Friday.  This position involves handling a wide variety of goods and materials and is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, labour-intensive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• General operatives will manually unload goods and products from shipping containers or trucks.
• Sort, stack, and organize items by type, size, or delivery zone.
• General operatives will Inspect items for damage or discrepancies during unloading.
• Palletise items using shrink wrap and other securing materials when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and forklift drivers to ensure efficient workflow.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months warehouse based experience is essential
• Physically fit and capable of repetitive heavy lifting
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (inside containers can get hot or cold).
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and team-player attitude.
• Experience working in Fast-paced warehouse or freight yard.

Preferred Qualifications:

Flexible availability for shifts and occasional overtime.
