General Services Manager Full Time NEW

We are currently recruiting for a General Services Manager on behalf of a leading facilities management provider, supporting a high-profile client site in Limerick.

This is a senior leadership position for an experienced and commercially driven professional to take full ownership of a large, multi-service contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering operational excellence, leading high-performing teams, and maintaining strong client relationships within a complex and highly regulated environment.

The Role

As General Services Manager, you will lead the overall delivery of integrated facilities management services across the site, including technical services, catering, cleaning, and vendor management.

You will play a key role in shaping site strategy, driving performance, and identifying opportunities for growth, while ensuring all contractual, financial, and compliance obligations are met.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the full delivery of the contract, ensuring all services meet or exceed SLAs and KPIs
• Provide strategic direction and leadership across all service lines
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships at senior level
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across the site
• Take full ownership of financial performance including P&L, budgeting, and cost control
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety, regulatory, and audit requirements
• Lead, develop, and inspire multidisciplinary teams, fostering a high-performance culture
• Manage vendor and contractor performance to ensure service quality and compliance
• Identify and deliver opportunities for contract growth, innovation, and service enhancement
• Lead on risk management, audit readiness, and governance processes
• Proven experience in a senior facilities management or operations leadership role
• Strong track record managing large, integrated service contracts
• Experience within a pharma or highly regulated environment is highly desirable
• Commercially astute with significant experience managing P&L and driving profitability
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills
• Strong client-facing experience with the ability to influence at senior level
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem solving and delivery

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Facilities Management, or Business
• Experience working in GMP-regulated environments
• Knowledge of CAFM systems (e.g. Maximo)
• Lean Six Sigma or project management experience
