Hotel Accounts Assistant
4-Star Dublin City Hotel | Full-Time | €42,000–€45,000 DOE
A leading 4-star hotel in Dublin City is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Accounts Assistant to support the finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in hospitality finance to further their career in a dynamic and professional environment.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will assist in managing payroll, processing financial reports, and ensuring day-to-day financial operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with weekly and monthly financial reporting
Process hotel payroll and ensure timely and accurate staff payments
Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable
Ensure supplier accounts are up to date and reconcile monthly statements
Assist with cash handling procedures and monitor the hotel’s credit policy
Support the External Auditor with annual audit preparation
Maintain debtor control and follow up on outstanding balances
Provide daily support to the finance team and assist in training junior staff
Ensure financial compliance with internal controls and legal regulations
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in a finance or accounts role, ideally within hospitality
Knowledge of payroll systems and reporting processes
Strong Excel skills and experience with financial software
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and organisational skills
A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
