Kitchen Porter Temporary

Broadline Recruiters are hiring experienced Kitchen Porters to join our professional and friendly team to work in Nursing Homes in Dublin and surrounding areas.

This position does not suit people holding Stamp 2 visas due to restrictions

Requirements:

• Must have at least TWO years’ experience working in Hospital / Nursing Home settings or come from a high-volume catering background
• Excellent English both written and verbal.
• Ability to adapt to working in new Healthcare environment
• Must have a minimum two work references.
• Valid work permits to work full time in Ireland with no restrictions. 
• Must have flexible working hours
• Candidates should have a positive, friendly and committed approach to your work.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all kitchen areas, utensils, crockery and equipment are clean and organised
• General assistance in the kitchen – stock control and storage, deliveries, goods in and goods out and other duties assigned by the Head Chef / Kitchen Manager.
• Pot wash and deep cleaning the kitchen area, including floors, walls, surfaces & equipment
• Adhering to hygiene, health and safety and HACCP regulations.
• Kitchen waste and recyclables management
• Assisting the Chefs with basic food preparation tasks as required
• Ability to be a team player, supporting other members of the kitchen staff as well.
• Have a friendly and professional manner towards clients and colleagues.
