Learning & Development Executive – 4* Property Meath

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct training needs analysis throughout the company to ensure comprehensive understanding of L&D needs
  • Lead and evaluate Learning & Development programmes, orientation, and personnel development
  • Develop Hotel Orientation / Induction Programme
  • Support the development of High-Performance Culture through learning, coaching and mentoring
  • Ensure strategy is informed from best-in-class L&D thinking
  • Provide a frame work to develop people to enhance their skills, improve performance and job satisfaction
  • Develop and implement Accredited Training to support the development of Management skills
  • Develop innovative, cost-effective solutions to meet those needs
  • Personally deliver Customer Service and Management programmes
  • Review all training policies and procedures
  • Track / record all L&D initiatives
  • Evaluate the L&D activities in line with business objectives
  • Support performance management and review process for supervisors and employees
  • Prepare training budget and evaluate instructor costs and performance
  • Create, refine, and disseminate training manuals and other educational material
  • Set and gain agreement on annual budget and monitor expenditure
  • Ensure all work carried out is in compliance with the required standards, Food Safety, Health & Safety, Environmental and regulatory requirements
  • Establish links/good working relationships with key colleges to ensure flow of quality graduates / management trainees

Qualifications & Experience for the Ideal Candidate:

  • Learning & Development Qualification
  • Experience in L&D role in the Hospitality Industry
  • Certified ‘Train the Trainer’ and Manual Handling Trainer, an advantage
  • Degree in Human Resources or Business/Psychology
  • Excellent interpersonal & organisational skills

Salary Guide: €40-45k
