Meeting and Events Manager – 5* Hotel Wicklow

Our client is looking for an experienced Meeting and Events Manager to join their successful events team in a 5* hotel in Wicklow. The successful candidate will have strong experience with meeting and events, and also come from a luxury hotel background. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Meet with clients to understand their event needs, preferences, and expectations, providing expert advice on what the Hotel offers.
• Create tailored event experiences that align with the hotel’s luxury brand.
• Collaborate closely with various hotel departments to ensure seamless service and execution of events.
• Ensure every aspect of the event meets the five star standard, focusing on luxury and guest experience.
• Source and manage high-quality vendors and suppliers.
• Develop and manage detailed budgets for events, ensuring profitability while maintaining quality and service excellence.
• Work with the marketing team to promote events hosted at the hotel, utilizing luxury branding strategies to attract high-profile clients.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all event attendees, ensuring their needs are met and enhancing their overall experience.
• Conduct follow-up meetings with clients to gather feedback, assess satisfaction, and explore opportunities for future events.
• Ensure all events comply with health, safety, and legal regulations, maintaining the hotel’s reputation for excellence.

Candidate Requirements: 

• 5* or Luxury background
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Excellent attention to detail
• 5* Customer Service
• Excellent Communication skills
• Strong admin skills

Salary Guide : €45 – €50k
