Payroll Specialist

Our client based in the Dublin South location is looking for a payroll specialist to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position which is fully office-based Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm. The ideal candidate will have previous high volume weekly payroll. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team.

Role Requirements:

• Manage and process payroll for all employees
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a large volume of employees.
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, salaries, overtime, statutory payments, and deductions
• Maintain payroll records including new hires, leavers, and employee changes
• Ensure full compliance with Irish Revenue requirements (PAYE)
• Prepare and submit payroll-related filings and statutory returns
• Respond to client and employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner
• Producing payroll reports on a weekly basis

Candidate Requirements:

• IPASS Qualification 
• Minimum 3 years’ experience 
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws in Ireland.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with payroll software (e.g. Sage Payroll or similar) and strong Excel skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
