Job Title: Regional Business Development Manager

Location: Nationwide / Munster

Overview: As the Regional Business Development Manager with a large and fast growing Hotel Group, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue across Ireland. You will lead strategic initiatives to expand the hotel group’s market presence, increase occupancy rates, and foster partnerships that enhance profitability and brand recognition.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Growth Strategy:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans aligned with corporate objectives.
    • Identify new business opportunities and emerging markets to generate revenue growth.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to capitalize on market shifts and opportunities.
  2. Sales and Marketing:

    • Lead sales efforts to secure new contracts, partnerships, and accounts.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional campaigns and sales strategies.
    • Drive digital marketing initiatives to increase online visibility and direct bookings.
  3. Relationship Management:

    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and mutual benefit.
    • Represent the hotel group at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  4. Financial Management:

    • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
    • Optimize pricing strategies and revenue management practices.
    • Prepare and present periodic reports detailing business development activities, results, and projections.
  5. Team Leadership and Collaboration:

    • Coordinate with regional hotel managers and department heads to align business development efforts with operational strategies.
    • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the business development team.
    • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the team and across departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (3 years) in business development, sales, or marketing within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to drive results and achieve targets.
  • Ability to travel within the region and occasionally internationally, as required.
