We are seeking a hands-on Restaurant Manager to oversee and manage the bar operations at a busy 4-star hotel in Kilkenny. This role includes managing food service within the bars and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bar operations, including reservations and coordinating special requests

• Maintain cleanliness and ambiance (lighting, music, temperature) of bar areas

• Monitor guest feedback and take timely action to resolve issues

• Assist with purchasing, cost control, and budget management

• Support payroll management to meet forecasted targets

• Drive revenue growth while minimizing wastage and controlling beverage costs

• Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations

• Investigate and report accidents/incidents per hotel procedures

• Support environmental initiatives around waste and energy efficiency

Candidate Profile:

• Strong bar management experience with knowledge of food service

• Ability to manage, train, and motivate staff; develop SOPs and maintain standards

• Excellent leadership skills with a focus on building effective relationships
