Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintaining high productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant
- Hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff
- Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain and enforce sanitary and safety standards in the restaurant
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly
- Develop and implement promotional events and activities
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
- Oversee dining room, kitchen, and administrative functions to ensure smooth operations
- Manage restaurant budget and financial plans, including payroll, and monitor expenses
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of restaurant management software (e.g., POS systems)
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Certification in food handling and sanitation practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in budgeting and financial planning
- Knowledge of restaurant marketing strategies
