Sales Executive Role – 5* Hotel Kerry 

As sales executive of this 5* property you will assist the director of Sales & Marketing in promoting this stunning property and golf course both nationally and internationally, as needed, with also a strong emphasis on promoting Weddings and Events at the property.

The Role Requirements:

• Identify & qualify new leads and opportunities for the hotel and the golf course by arranging meetings, presentations and site visits to showcase the facilities.
• Undertake proactive sales calls/activities via email, in person or online with clients as outlined and planned within the Sales & Marketing Plan.
• Promote and generate new business for transient, group, meetings & wedding segments.
• Represent the hotel at networking/industry events when required.
• Manage and cohost client events in conjunction with sales team  
• Database management with focus on growing & segmenting contacts for better communication.
• Provide regular reports on sales activities and revenue generated.
• Prepare and present customized event proposals and quotations
• Ensure all client requirements are met and accurately documented.
• Collaborate with the hotel’s event and operational teams to ensure seamless event planning and execution.
• Comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health & Safety, fire, hygiene, licensing and employment.

The Candidates Requirements:

• Have a positive attitude and be a highly focused and disciplined individual. 
• Be of entrepreneurial nature and get a buzz from being competitive and have the ability to work as part of a team. 
• Good business acumen is required to maximize the effectiveness of the business. Resourcefulness in problem solving and good profit orientation is required. 
• A strong personality and ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• The ability to maintain and develop customer relations. 
• The ability to work on your own initiative and to face new situations with enthusiasm.

Salary Guide: €35K Plus

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities. You may be required to perform additional tasks as directed by the Director of Sales & Marketing. This role also involves close collaboration with the Events Manager to ensure seamless booking and execution of events.
