Sales & Marketing Manager

Location: Dublin West

Salary: €45-55k

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform day to day sales activity including lead generation, face to face meetings, contracting & rate negotiation, site inspections, attendance at trade shows.
  • Management of annual marketing budget.
  • Manage social media outlets.
  • Executive quarterly activity plans to create focus for the team and adapt activity to support business needs.
  • Develop printed promotional material including brochures, fliers, special offers, posters, menus etc. in line with brand standards.
  • Manage online marketing & brand website through content development and continually driving customers direct to this sale channel.
  • Report weekly & monthly on account performance and general activity to General Manager and Central Office.
  • Represent the hotel at sales team meetings and other events as appropriate.
  • Manage and undertake local, regional, and national activities including trade shows, networking events, workshops, wedding fairs, presentations, sales missions etc.
  • Team management, coaching and leadership.
  • Assist with the organisation and operation of in-house events.
  • Identify, target and secure new business in all areas including rooms, Food & Beverage outlets, meetings, weddings and special events
  • Managing all aspects of sales and marketing activities, ensuring sales resources are used to maximize revenue channels
  • Attend Group consumer and trade promotions as required and schedule relevant individual promotions for the hotel.
  • To be fully aware of the main market developments and other factors that would influence business or create favourable market conditions.

 

Candidate:

  • 3 years in a Sales/Marketing role, ideally in a 4 star hotel.
  • A confident, ambitious, pro-active and creative thinker with an outgoing personality who can drive new relationships as well as maintain existing ones.
  • Sales focused, target and results driven.
  • Effective communicator to clients and colleagues, individually and in groups.
