Meetings and Events Manager

- Meetings and Events Manager will manage all bookings for all conference and event business, making sure all sales enquiries and hotel show rounds are dealt with in a proactive manner and converted into confirmed bookings.
- Meetings and Events Manager will be Responsible to ensure the events database is updated, actioned daily, and utilised for all live enquiries, existing clients, and new business.
- Meetings and Events Manager will upsell all conference and events equipment, food and beverage, and other hotel facilities.
- Meetings and Events Manager will meet clients to complete site inspections and show arounds, ensuring the operations team have prepared the hotel and are aware of all appointments.
- Meetings and Events Manager will ensure all brochures, packages, and information is up to date and readily available.
- Meetings and Events Manager will attend the weekly Heads of Department meeting and the daily operations briefing to ensure all information is correct, and give any updates.
- Meetings and Events Manager will conduct pre-and post-event evaluations and report on outcomes
- Meetings and Events Manager will detail all Meeting & Event Functions and ensure all final Banquet Event Orders are signed off.
- Meetings and Events Manager will create Pro-forma invoices, and ensure deposits and final balances are paid as per the contracted times.
- Meetings and Events Manager will communicate and share knowledge with other hotel departments on a regular basis through comprehensive function sheets.
- Meetings and Events Manager will ensure all bills are correct, and final numbers posted and balances settled.
- Contacting existing, previous, and potential clients.
- Meetings and Events Manager will attend trade shows, wedding fairs, and other industry events.
