Wedding and Events Coordinator

My Client is looking for a friendly professional Wedding and Events Coordinator who We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Wedding and Events Coordinator role who can work as part of a team in a luxury 4 star hotel in Kildare
The key responsibilities are
- Managing bookings for all weddings, conference, and event business, and making sure all sales enquiries and hotel show rounds are dealt with in a proactive manner and converted into confirmed bookings.
- Responsible to ensure the events database is updated, actioned daily, and utilised for all live enquiries, existing clients, and new business
- Upsell all conference and events equipment, food and beverage, and other hotel facilities
- Meet Wedding couples and clients to complete site inspections and show arounds, ensuring the operations team have prepared the hotel and are aware of all appointments
- Ensure all brochures, packages, and information is up to date and readily available
- Attend the weekly Heads of Department meeting and the daily operations briefing to ensure all information is correct, and give any updates
- Conduct pre-and post-event evaluations and report on outcomes
- Detail all Meeting & Event Functions and ensure all final Banquet Event Orders are signed off
- Create Pro-forma invoices, and ensure deposits and final balances are paid as per the contracted times
- To communicate and share knowledge with other hotel departments on a regular basis through comprehensive function sheets
- Ensure all bills are correct, and final numbers posted and balances settled
- Contacting existing, previous, and potential clients
- Attend trade shows, wedding fairs, and other industry events
