Our client a very well known hotel in the Wicklow area is looking to recruit a Senior Assistant Manager.
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will manage all aspects of the day-to-day running of the hotel coordinating interdepartmental activities and proactively driving the Sales & standards in the hotel.
The role involves ensuring that each department delivers a consistently high standard of guest service while achieving business objectives and maximising the profitability of all outlets and maintaining effective cost controls in all areas.
This ‘hands on’ role requires the ideal candidate to have previous senior Hotel management experience with excellent interpersonal, organisational and leadership skills.
The successful candidate will have experience of managing a team at senior level and be passionate to drive and deliver on all financial targets.
Other responsibilities include:
– To manage the day to day hotel operations, to ensure standards are set and achieved consistently in all areas
– To operate effective control systems in the hotel
– To forecast business levels accurately & ensure staffing as required
– To operate and manage the performance management system in the hotel to company standards
This role would suit the ideal candidate who is willing to gain the experience and move on to their next role.

Salary scale €28-33K depinding on experience. This is an immediate start.
