An opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef to join a high end four star hotel in the Wexford area. This hotel has a philosophy of great food and attention to detail along with outstanding customer service. Working under the Executive Head Chef the successful candidate will be the 2nd in command in this busy high profile property.
- In charge of the kitchen in absence of the Head Chef.
- Strong attention to detail when carrying out there role.
- Leading a team of established chefs.
- Excellent working hours available.
- Cooking to a very high standard of food for the members.
- Creativity required when delivering the menus.
- Excellent financial background when implementing menus.
- Strong kitchen financials.
- Min two years experience in a senior role in the kitchen.
- Strong proven track record cooking to a very high standard ideally from a fine dining back round
- Banqueting experience required
- Excellent organisational skills a must.
- Previous experience working in a successful kitchen .
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Excellent culinary background.
- Strong menu management and implementation.
- Excellent execution when presenting food.
