Accounts Technician – Ashbourne Co. Meath Full Time

Role: Accounts Technician

Location: Ashbourne, Co. Meath – Transport Required

Salary: €35k

At Broadline Recruiters, we are currently seeking an Accounts Technician to join a dynamic accounts team based in Ashbourne, County Meath.

Role Requirements:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and trial balances.
• Oversee invoicing, payments, and collections. Ensure all invoices are processed and payments are made on time.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of all financial transactions.
• Assist in month-end and year-end processes by ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Prepare management reports such as cash flow statements, profit & loss, and balance sheets.
• Assist with tax filing, ensuring compliance with VAT, PAYE, and other statutory obligations.
• Support in budget preparation and forecasting by providing necessary financial data and analysis.
• Assist with external and internal audits by providing required documentation and explanations for financial data.

Candidate Requirements:

• A relevant qualification such as an AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) certification or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts or finance role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, MS Excel).
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
