The Opportunity
We are recruiting an experienced Meeting & Events Operations Manager for a well-established standards driven 4 Star Hotel in Kilkenny. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven hospitality professional to lead a busy events department delivering high-end corporate, wedding, and private events.

You will take full ownership of event delivery, ensuring seamless operations, exceptional service standards, and strong team performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the daily operation of the Meetings & Events department
• Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing events team
• Coordinate and deliver corporate events, weddings, and private functions
• Work closely with Sales, Kitchen, and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution
• Manage event setup, service, and breakdown to the highest standard
• Ensure all client requirements are met and exceeded
• Control staffing levels, rostering, and labour costs
• Maintain strong client and internal communication
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational procedures

Requirements
• 2–3 years’ experience in Meetings & Events or Banqueting management
• Experience in high-volume or premium hospitality venues
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organisation and communication abilities
• Experience managing multiple events simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and guest focus
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
