Role: Bakery Manager
Location: West Dublin
Salary: €40k
Role Requirements:
- Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of talented bakers and confectioners.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment where everyone thrives.
- Lead from the front and by example.
- Create efficient schedules that ensure adequate coverage while managing labour costs effectively.
- Develop and manage budgets, including monitoring purchases, implementing cost-saving measures, lowering waste, and maintaining high productivity.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards and regulations to maintain impeccable hygiene and product quality.
- Drive innovation by spearheading the development of exciting new creations and seasonal offerings.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including stock management, ordering supplies, product quality and maintaining equipment to guarantee smooth bakery functioning.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous bakery management experience is essential.
- Proven track record in people management, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in rostering and scheduling software.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
- Thorough knowledge of food safety standards and regulations with food safety accreditations.
- Creative flair and a passion for developing new recipes and products.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Food Science knowledge a bonus but not essential.
