We are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious luxury hotel for an experienced and commercially focused Director of Sales. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile property in a senior leadership role, driving revenue growth and market positioning.

Job Summary

As Director of Sales, you will lead the hotel’s sales strategy, manage key client relationships, and drive business across corporate, MICE, and leisure segments. You will work closely with senior leadership and revenue teams to maximise performance and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets
• Lead and manage the hotel sales team to deliver on KPIs and business goals
• Identify and convert new business opportunities across corporate, MICE, and leisure markets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
• Collaborate with Revenue Management on pricing and distribution strategies
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance
• Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Director of Sales or Senior Sales Manager in a luxury or 4/5-star hotel
• Strong track record in driving hotel revenue and business development
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Experience with CRM systems and hotel sales tools
• Strong understanding of the Irish and/or international hotel market
• Degree in Business, Hospitality, or Marketing preferred
