Head Chef – Hotel Dublin South

My client is looking for an experienced Head Chef. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality leading a team and be passionate and knowledgeable about all aspects of the kitchen in a hotel environment.



  • Directs food preparation and collaborates with the Executive Head Chef.
  • Produces high quality plates, including both design and taste.
  • Oversees and supervises kitchen staff.
  • Assists with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies.
  • Ensures that food is top quality, and that kitchen is in good condition.
  • Keeps stations clean and complies with food safety standards.
  • Offers suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the kitchen’s performance.
  • Prepares food safely.
  • Trains new employees.
  • Monitors and maintains kitchen equipment.
  • Solves problems that arise and seizes control of issues in the kitchen.


 Candidate Requirements:

  • Have previous experience in a busy hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of fresh and local produce.
  • Background in catering for functions and Banqueting as well as restaurant and bar food.
  • Have the ability to multitask and calm under pressure.
  • Highly motivated individual as there is progression within this role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Knowledge of HACCP.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in similar role.


Salary Guide €60k
