HR Manager

Overview: As the Human Resource Manager for our prestigious luxury 4* hotel, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive work environment that aligns with our hotel’s values and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Staffing:

    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
    • Manage the entire recruitment life cycle, from job posting to on boarding.
    • Conduct interviews and collaborate with department heads to assess staffing needs.
  2. Employee Relations:

    • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues and provide guidance to managers and employees.
    • Implement policies and procedures to promote fair and consistent employee relations practices.
    • Address grievances and mediate conflicts to maintain a productive and positive work environment.
  3. Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
    • Develop career development plans and succession planning strategies.
    • Implement performance management systems to evaluate and reward employee contributions.
  4. Compliance and Legal:

    • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and industry trends.
    • Oversee payroll and benefits administration processes.
  5. HR Administration:

    • Manage HR records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
    • Prepare and analyze HR reports and metrics for management review.
    • Manage employee documentation, including contracts, agreements, and policies.
  6. Culture and Engagement:

    • Promote a culture of teamwork, respect, and professional growth.
    • Organize employee engagement initiatives and social events.
    • Foster a positive employer brand and reputation in the hospitality industry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager in the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
