Human Resource Generalist Full Time NEW

Our Client is looking to recruit a HR Generalist to support the operational leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring HR policies, processes and practices are consistently applied while remaining responsive to the fast paced operationally critical nature of the working environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Deliver end to end HR generalist support across the employee life cycle
• Act as the first point of contact for HR queries from employees and managers
• Support consistent application of HR policies procedures and employment legislation across multiple sites 
• Build strong working relationships with site based management teams
• Advise and support managers on disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management matters.
• Assist with investigations, hearings and documentation in line with company policy and in accordance with employment law
• Support recruitment activities including role scoping advertising, screening, interviewing and offers
• Coordinate onboarding processes and inductions
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems across all sites
• Support compliance with employment legislation and industry regulations 
• Contribute to HR projects led by the Group HR Manager or HR Generalist Team Leader.

Skills and Experience 

• Proven experience in a HR Generalist or similar HR advisory role
• Experience supporting operational or blue collar environments
• Ability to manage a varied workload across multiple sites 
• Sound working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Working knowledge of HR principles gained through experience or
• Completed degree or equivalent qualification in HR or Business or a related discipline.
• Full drivers licence
• CIPD or equivalent professional HR qualification is desirable
