Production Head Chef
Location: Dublin South
Salary: Negotiable
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Controlling and directing the food preparation process.
- Managing and leading the production team.
- Creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and quality.
- Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering.
- Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines.
- Being responsible for health and safety.
- Being responsible for food hygiene practices.
Candidate:
- This is a Day time Role 7am-3 o4 4pm. Every Sunday Off.
- Level 1 and 2 HACCP Certificates.
- Level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace certificate.
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
- Awareness of manual handling techniques.
- Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and chemical safety.
- Experience of kitchen equipment.
- Experience of dangerous equipment such as knives.
- Excellent knowledge of all kitchen sections
- Ability to produce excellent high-quality food consistently.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes.
