Production Head Chef

Location: Dublin South

Salary: Negotiable 

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Controlling and directing the food preparation process.
  • Managing and leading the production team.
  • Creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and quality.
  • Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering.
  • Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines.
  • Being responsible for health and safety.
  • Being responsible for food hygiene practices.

 

 Candidate:

  • This is a Day time Role 7am-3 o4 4pm. Every Sunday Off.
  • Level 1 and 2 HACCP Certificates.
  • Level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace certificate.
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
  • Awareness of manual handling techniques.
  • Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and chemical safety.
  • Experience of kitchen equipment.
  • Experience of dangerous equipment such as knives.
  • Excellent knowledge of all kitchen sections
  • Ability to produce excellent high-quality food consistently.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes.
