Purchasing Manager – 5* Hotel Dublin City Centre
Our client is recruiting for an experienced Purchasing Manager for one of the most prestigious 5* Star Properties in Ireland situated in Dublin City Centre.
Responsibilities:
- Assists Executive Chef & F&B Director in all aspects of purchasing (e.g., Food, Beverage and Controllable)
- Orders all food and beverage based on business needs.
- Ensures that proper safeguards are in effect for the security of the food and beverage storeroom assets.
- Co-ordinates with vendors to ensure timing of deliveries satisfies advanced food production needs.
- Receives and inspects all deliveries, Checks invoice on goods received against shipment to ensure quantity.
- Completes period end inventory according to accounting standards and operation procedures.
- Ensures that price and product availability issues are communicated as needed to Management.
- Manage end-to-end procurement software.
- Prepare and presentation of Purchasing Documents.
- Manage e-procurement portal.
- Manage supplier management arrangements with external suppliers.
- Prepare and present reports.
The Candidate Requirements:
- 4+ years’ experience in a similar position.
- Experience using e-procurement software such as Procure Wizard.
- CIPS qualification is highly desirable.
Salary Guide: €50-60k
