Senior Manager
Location: Kildare
Salary: €40-45k
Duties & Responsibilities:
- To manage the smooth and efficient running of the Food & Beverage Department in a 4* hotel ensuring standards and guest satisfaction are always maintained thus ensuring revenue is maximized.
- Extensive knowledge of overseeing fine dining restaurants and managing multiple outlets in luxury hotels
- Create a professional, innovative and inclusive department working closely with the team to provide a seamless experience.
- Knowledge of menu composition and engineering
- Ability to convert the knowledge of wines and alcoholic beverages into product sales and service.
- Knowledge of food & beverage marketing/promotional techniques
- Knowledge of pricing rationale and strategies
- Knowledge of purchasing, inventory controls, supplies, and equipment
- Knowledge of hotel operations as they affect department.
- Knowledge of governmental regulations and safety standards
- Ability to effectively manage labour costs & forecast revenues.
- Financial management skills e.g., ability to analyse P&L statements, develop operating budgets, forecasting and capital expenditure planning.
- Strategic planning skills
- Ability to evaluate business trends, determine applicability to customer profile and modify business strategies accordingly.
Candidate:
- Minimum of 2 years’ management experience in a 4* star luxury hotel.
- Passionate about food, wine and people.
- Goals and results orientated.
- Strong coaching and development skills.
- Experience in delivering premium service to guests
- Strong problem-solving skills; encourages new innovative solutions when appropriate.
- Effective influence skills
- Strong consensus building skills.
