Sous Chef – Day Time Role Mon – Fri – Dublin City Centre
Our Client is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team in a busy corporate catering operation in Dublin City Centre.
Role and Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior position
- Valid work permit with documentation.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Menu development, food preparation, and staff management.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and presentation meet our high standards.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes with precision and attention to detail
- Train, mentor, and lead a team of culinary professionals
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, implementing and monitoring of HACCP system.
- Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and cost control to optimize efficiency and profitability.
