Role: Warehouse Team Lead

Location: North Dublin

Salary: €38k

Role Requirements:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Oversee the receiving, storing, and shipping of products/materials to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory control team to maintain accurate stock counts.
• Assist in the development and implementation of warehouse procedures to optimize workflow and improve productivity.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise in the warehouse, including inventory discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or personnel issues.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate activities and ensure timely delivery of products/materials.
• Perform regular inspections of the warehouse to identify any maintenance or safety concerns and address them promptly.
• Lead by example and promote a positive work environment by fostering teamwork, accountability, and open communication.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels.
• Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles and practices
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
