We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established hotel in Wexford for an experienced and motivated Duty Manager. This is a great opportunity for a hospitality professional to step into a key operational role and support the day-to-day running of the hotel.

Job Summary

As Duty Manager, you will oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring excellent guest service across all departments. You will act as a point of contact for guests, support team performance, and ensure smooth service delivery throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel
• Ensure high standards of guest service across all departments
• Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally
• Support and supervise front office, F&B, and operational teams
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and health & safety standards
• Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance management
• Monitor service standards and implement improvements where needed
• Support senior management in achieving operational and financial targets

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Supervisor, or senior hotel team member
• Strong understanding of hotel operations (Front Office and/or F&B)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
