Job Description

The Wedding Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing wedding events at the hotel to ensure an exceptional guest experience. The role involves working closely with couples, suppliers, and internal hotel departments to coordinate all aspects of wedding ceremonies, receptions, and related events from initial enquiry through to post-event follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

Wedding Coordinator will manage all wedding enquiries, consultations, and venue tours for prospective clients.

Wedding Coordinator will prepare wedding proposals, contracts, and event quotations.

Wedding Coordinator will coordinate all wedding details including timelines, menus, décor, entertainment, and accommodation.

Wedding Coordinator will act as the main point of contact for couples throughout the planning process and on the wedding day.

Wedding Coordinator will liaise with suppliers and external vendors to ensure smooth event delivery.

Wedding Coordinator will communicate event requirements clearly with hotel departments including kitchen, housekeeping, and front office.

Wedding Coordinator will oversee wedding setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure hotel standards are maintained.

Wedding Coordinator will handle last-minute changes and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Wedding Coordinator will maintain accurate booking records, payment schedules, and event documentation.

Wedding Coordinator will support revenue growth through upselling hotel services and delivering excellent guest experiences. 

Essential

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in wedding coordination, event planning, or hotel events.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Experience using hotel booking or event management systems.
