We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established 4-star hotel in Wexford for an experienced and passionate Bar Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a busy bar operation and deliver high standards of service in a quality-driven hospitality environment.

Job Summary

As Bar Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the bar, ensuring exceptional guest service, strong team performance, and efficient operations. You will play a key role in driving revenue, maintaining standards, and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the bar
• Lead, train, and develop the bar team
• Ensure high standards of service, presentation, and cleanliness
• Drive sales and maximise revenue through promotions and upselling
• Manage stock control, ordering, and minimise waste
• Maintain strong cost control and profitability
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws, HACCP, and health & safety standards
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally
• Work closely with senior management on bar strategy and offerings

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager in a hotel or busy bar environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar operations
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Commercially aware with a focus on driving revenue
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
