Assistant Front Office Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to join this luxury hotel team. The Assistant Front Office Manager will assist the Front Office Manager in all aspects of the department’s operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing daily operations of the Front Office department, including reception and guest services.
  • Ensure seamless guest registration and departure processes.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Train, supervise, and motivate Front Office staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Monitor and maintain front desk and lobby appearance standards.
  • Assist in developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular department meetings and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth hotel operations.
  • Manage room inventory to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in budgeting and cost control measures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a hotel Front Office department.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Hotsoft, Fidelio, Opera Cloud) and MS Office.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Certification in Hotel Management or a similar qualification is a plus.
