Hospital Catering Assistant

Broadline Group are looking for Catering Assistant all through Dublin, Wicklow, Wexford, Kildare, Meath, Westmeath, Louth, Laois, Offaly, Kilkenny and Carlow locations.

Suitable Catering Assistant must have one-year relevant work experience in a healthcare, housekeeping or high-volume hospitality environment and be able to provide work references covering five years employment history. We have ongoing Catering Assistant positions in HSE units including some of the largest Healthcare settings, Hospitals and Nursing Homes throughout Leinster.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum one year experience in hospital, nursing home, or high-volume catering environment within the last five years.
• Excellent English both written and verbal with the ability to adapt to healthcare catering environments.
• Minimum of three working references covering five years of employment history.
• Candidates must hold a valid work permit to work in Ireland with no restrictions.
• Candidates should have a positive and committed approach to your work.

Responsibilities

• Setting up the catering units, wards & Pantry’s for daily service.
• Working from the pantry serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and teas.
• Day to day cleaning of the catering units and kitchens.
• Taking patients orders and uploading into the system.
• Working as part of the catering team and following instructions from management.
• Food prep and food presentation while working in the hospital canteens
• Following all HACCP and hygiene procedures.
