Job Title: Director of Sales – Galway

Salary Guide – €75,000 – €85,000 DOE

We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Director of Sales to join a prestigious 4-star hotel in Galway. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven Senior Sales Manager looking to take the next step in their career and make a significant impact in a property renowned for its guest experience, events, and corporate offering.

As Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a clear sales strategy to drive revenue across rooms, conferences, events, weddings, and F&B. You will build strong relationships with key corporate clients, agencies, and tour operators while identifying new business opportunities to achieve and exceed targets.

The successful Director of Sales will:

• Lead and motivate the sales team to deliver exceptional results.

• Create and manage annual sales and marketing plans.

• Develop strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

• Maximise revenue opportunities across all departments.

• Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.

• Report on performance, market trends, and competitor activity.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Senior Sales Manager or Director of Sales in the hospitality sector.

• Proven track record in delivering revenue growth.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Strong market knowledge of Galway and the wider hospitality industry.

• A results-driven and strategic mindset.
