Dispatch Operative

Our Warehouse & Logistics client based in Dublin 12 are seeking an experienced Dispatch Operative. The Dispatch Operative is responsible for preparing, checking, and dispatching customer orders accurately and on time. The role ensures all outbound goods are correctly packed, labelled, loaded, and documented while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Role Requirements:

• The Dispatch Operative will prepare customer orders for dispatch in line with delivery schedules.
• Verify picked orders for accuracy, quantity, and quality.
• Pack, wrap, and label goods for safe transportation.
• Load vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with loading plans.
• Complete dispatch documentation, delivery notes, and shipping paperwork.
• Update the Warehouse Management System to maintain accurate records.
• Liaise with warehouse, transport, and customer service teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or dispatch issues promptly.
• Ensure loading areas are clean, organised, and compliant with Health & Safety standards.
• Assist with stock movements and inventory control when required.
• Meet daily dispatch targets while maintaining high levels of accuracy.

Candidate Requirements:

• The Dispatch Operative will haverevious experience in a warehouse or dispatch environment is desirable.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills and experience using warehouse systems.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.

Hours 39 hours

Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm

Salary €33k DOE
