General Restaurant Manager
Salary: €65-75k

Our Client is looking for a passionate & enthusiastic Restaurant Manager based in Dublin West
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage.
- Create a professional, innovative and inclusive department working closely with the team to provide a seamless experience.
- Knowledge of menu composition and engineering.
- Ability to convert the knowledge of wines and alcoholic beverages into product sales and service.
- Knowledge of food & beverage marketing/promotional techniques.
- Knowledge of pricing rationale and strategies.
- Knowledge of purchasing, inventory controls, supplies and equipment.
- Knowledge of governmental regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to effectively manage labor costs & forecast revenues.
- Financial management skills e.g., ability to analyze P&L statements, develop operating budgets, forecasting and capital expenditure planning.
- Strategic planning skills.
- Ability to evaluate business trends, determine applicability to customer profile and modify business strategies accordingly.
- Will oversee the full day to day running of a busy restaurant.
- Lead from the front, showing the best example of service and quality.
- Oversee all reports sent to senior management such as end of day reports, wastage etc.
- Liaise with senior management to ensure the restaurant is staying on course to achieve given targets.
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation.
- Promoting and marketing the business.
- Handling customer enquiries and complaints.
- Training and supervising staff.
- Assessing and improving profitability.
Candidate:
- A minimum of 3 years in senior management in a restaurant in Ireland.
- Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude.
- Excellent customer service and customer focus.
- A real motivator, someone who can drive their team to be the best.
- Excellent food, beverage and wine knowledge desired.
- A finger on the pulse of the most up-to-date trends in both food and beverage.
- Strong commercial knowledge in all aspects of the business.
- Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
